Safety standards are of utmost importance with regards to employees of Jones Group Ltd. Every possible step is taken to ensure job safety for both job site employees and clients. The steps executed are job specific to ensure safety standards and job site issues are communicated effectively with all special considerations in mind.


Job Overview
A thorough job site analysis is completed before the commencement of each project to ensure all Government standards are met and/or exceeded to ensure a safe work environment. Jones Group Ltd. complies with strict Health and Safety guidelines set out by local unions, legislation, and Health and Safety Committees. Jones Group Ltd. job sites all meet Canadian federal Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) requirements. Job site supervisors ensure all employees comply with all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements and all permit requirements/conditions, signage requirements, and safety recommendations/requirements are adhered to.


Tool Box Talk Sheet: Group discussions are held weekly to address any concerns or safety issues as well as to convey job status or other issues of importance that have arisen or may arise. A safety standards booklet, along with an action plan for each possible incident, is left on the job site with the supervisor in charge, to ensure quick action should a situation occur. The Operations Manager is in regular contact with the job site foreman to assess any potential safety issues, in order to ensure the well-being of Jones Group Ltd employees and clients.
